Frequently Asked Questions

You've got hypothetical questions, we've got metaphorical answers

Ordering

Can I cancel my order?

We completely get it, shit happens! just give me an email or phone call and it should be no problem, as long as we haven't shipped it yet (Which you should receive a shipping confirmation email when we print the labels)

What if I want to speak to someone?

Buck yea, that's no problem! Hit up the Contact page with any questions, concerns, or feedback. We will be sure to get back to you as soon as I can, usually within 24 hours.

Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

We normally ship out either same or next business day of receiving your order, which comes from Sylva, NC. Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days.

Expedited options are available on checkout, or you can contact me if you have an urgent need and I'll see what I can do to accommodate since I've got more options available than what's able to be listed on the checkout page.

International shipping times are much more difficult to predict, and could be 3-5 days for an expedited service, a more typical USPS might be around 15-20 days, and may be longer depending on your country. Most often, delays are seen in the customs import/duty clearing within the destination country.

What countries do you ship to?

We mainly deal with Domestic within the United States, but are able to ship internationally pretty much anywhere. We primarily use USPS or UPS for international, which should all be available when you go to checkout. We can also use Fedex or DHL, although you may need to contact me for a quote since I don't believe their pricing is integrated with the website.

Please note, we must ship DDU, which means you're responsible for any customs, duty, or import taxes. Sometimes there is no charge (maybe below $100 for some countries), and other times it's. covered by the carrier service (like USPS or UPS Expedited). I can't make any blanket guarantees thought because all countries are different and the mail carriers also have different rules and services available, which is also subject to change at any point. It's always best to ask ahead of time if you're not sure.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

Items must be returned within 30 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received and please include all the original packaging.

Contact me to initiate a return, refund or replacement. I can provide a return label, and if the problem is with my products either damaged, wrong products, etc, we will cover all costs associated.

If you just change your mind, don't like the color, etc, then we kindly request you to cover the return shipping costs, although for convenience I can provide the label, and the shipping costs will just be deducted from the refund.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Refunds will be processed within 48 hours of when I receive them here, and you should receive an email notice of refund. It may take 7-10 days for the banks to actually credit your account, which is out of may control. yea for banking bureaucracy

General

Are y'all legit?

Yes, I'm legit, pinky promise. I know we're a small company, but I urge you to please Google us if you're unaware or have any reservations!

Customer satisfaction is my top priority, and all reviews and comments on this website, Instagram, and YouTube are organic. I'm not smart or persistent enough to figure out how to run a scam anyways, it's much easier to just be too legit. Now I just can't quit. Haha.

At least I think I'm funny

Where are your products made?

I'm based out of Sylva, NC in the US. We're a very small town about an hour outside of Asheville, NC, and maybe 15 minutes away from the Smoky Mountain National Park, maybe you've heard of it?

All products are designed and controlled by me personally (Hello 👋 I'm Charley), and the actual manufacturing varies. If you look up the definition of "Made in the USA", or more specifically the Country of Origin, it is quite vague, and generally taken as the final step of production. So literally, everything could be made overseas, even the Made in the US sticker, and all I need to do is put the sticker on the box and now it's 100% legal. Of course I could also lie to you, and how would you ever know?

But like I said before, I'm legit, full stop, so I'm not gonna lie. The BYOD Rails are 100% my design, and I have way too many hours into that. With my mechanical and welding engineering background, I know a little about manufacturing, and knew from the beginning this part needed to be die cast aluminum to meet my requirements and be cost effective.

US based die casting vendors are just not readily available. I wish it was not true, I wanted dearly to use a shop I could go visit, but that was just not in the cards. I contacted several dozen, but they were mostly aerospace and automotive subcontractors, so didn't want to deal with my small potatoes.

After some deliberation, and, well, shit let's be honest a LOT of deliberation, I arranged my parts to be manufactured in China. I won't bore you with the details, primarily because it's boring and boring, but also there's a little bit of propriety in my vendors at this point. I will say I personally handle quality control on every part I ship out, so if there's any issue, please don't blame China, it's my fault, I shipped out a bad part.

Some other products are "Off the shelf", sometimes known as white label. Again, I won't get into the details, but these are basically a collection of parts and products that I've complied which are most appropriate for the application. In short, I've done the leg work to make sure things work together.

In several instances, I've taken an "off the shelf" component, and had the manufacturer produce a custom run just for me to a different specification so I can meet your needs.

So some components I have available, you may be able to find elsewhere, which you're free to buy, you won't hurt my feelings. Many of my products, you cannot find anywhere else.
